If Jesus Comes Tomorrow

From the Pastor’s Desk

We are living in some very exciting times. For 2,000 years the words in our Bible have been telling us to “Look for the coming of our great God’ and Savior, Jesus Christ”. In addition, we have been encouraged by the Apostle Paul and many other writers of the Bible who have told us to pay attention to the time in which we live. Paul tells us that our “salvation grows nearer than when we first believed”. Today I ask the question: In what time do we live? The answer is that the earth has been given a 7,000-year period of time in which to exist “in time”. After time ceases, God’s prize creation (us) and even planet earth will go into eternity. The Prophet Isaiah and the Apostle John both record seeing “a new heaven and a new earth”. This will happen after 7,000 years of man’s history. However, after the first 6,000 years, God will remove His church from the planet. We today, are living at the end of that 6,000 -year period. In our lives, we have seen many signs for telling the end of man’s control on planet earth. We have seen the rebirth of the Nation Israel and we know that the return of Jesus is just around the corner. We need to live in the Light of His coming – Maranatha – Maranatha
