Wade Hammond

I will not be singing or preaching this morning but I have good news for everyone. The good news is, our friends Wade and Kathy Hammond will be sharing the Gospel with us through song. God has gifted Wade with a wonderful voice and in 2015 he was named “Country Western Gospel Singer of the Year”. For some reason, they like spending their winters here in Arizona and I am glad that they do as each year we are the benefactors. Wade is more than just music, there is a story that accompanies each and every song. Weaved amongst the notes and the lyrics are stories and experiences that are common to all of us. Make no mistake, Kathy is in complete control. With one movement of her finger, Wade and all the music can be silenced. She, like our Sandi, is in control of the sound. After the service we will have the opportunity to visit with Wade and Kathy and purchase his CD’s and other items. Together, they are a wonderful pair. So today, kick back and enjoy our yearly visit from our good friends. Welcome once again, Wade and Kathy Hammond.
