It is important for myself to have someone capable of stepping into my place as pastor/teacher whenever the occassion may arise. Pastor Don is that person. Sometimes I simply cannot be there on a Sunday or a Wednesday night and I need help. I know that I can count on Don to cover even with only a short notice – Giving him very little time to prepare. I have also noticed that Don has a pastoral heart and he is there to pray for and to help others as well. He has been teaching our Sunday morning Bible Study for several years but he gets very little time at the pulpit. This morning Pastor Don will be delivering the Sunday morning message from the pulpit. It is my understanding that he has chosen the topic of “The Greatest Commandment”.
