From the Pastor’s Desk
Do you remember the day, the hour, even the very moment that you asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior? Do you remember how your life began to change – For some slowly – For others instantly. Everyone’s encounter with the True and Living God is different, some are very emotional while some are not. All however, have this one quality – You loved your decision and you fell in love with your Savior. On that day you joined a church, not some building with a cross but the Church of Jesus Christ. You became part of the body of Christ as He became part of you. The picture is one of a union – Even a marriage – A marriage into eternity. And, while this union still remains, something may have changed. The same excitement that once existed when you first met Jesus seems to be diminishing in your relationship. This is a one-sided problem because Jesus is still madly in love with you and He pleads with you – He has never lost interest in His union with you. He wants you to be as excited as you were when you first met Him. He is actually waiting for you to “Return to your first Love”.
