The Gospel of Jesus Christ is under attack world wide. The “Truths” that were once the foundation of our great nation and even all of what we term western culture are rapidly declining. Simply put, Chrisitanity as we know it, is on its way out and the world has “Woke Up”. Although most people attribute this “Wokeness” to a political agenda, nothing could be further from the truth. This Wokeness comes to the church in guise of compassion, and social justice. However, those things that our Bible calls sin are rapidly being replaced by an attitude of acceptance. Obediance to the Word of God has been replaced with “Inclusion”. Christianity is NOT inclusive of sin. God clearly loves the sinner and He even sent His Son into the world to save the sinner. However, the church will disappear when this incusiveness of sin erases the desire to eradicate sin. Sin is our mortal enemy and Wokeness is the antithesis or direct opposite righteousness. Where did this come from? What are we going to do about it? These will be the subject matters of today’s message.
