Agape Love

If I were to give one word to describe Christianity, that word would be LOVE. If I were to give one word to describe the entire contents of the Bible, that word would be LOVE. If I were to give one word to describe the Creator and Savior of the world, that word would be LOVE. Unfortunately, the word LOVE has been stolen and reformed in such a way that even most Christians do not understand the full scope and its true meaning. Imagine however, a love so deep that it requires nothing in return. A love so rich in mercy and grace that you and I can only scratch the surface of its importance to every living cell on earth. This is the type of love that God has for His most valued creation – US – Mankind. The Bible declares that while we were yet sinners, rebels against our Creator, while we wanted nothing to do with Him who created us, He died for us.That death was a separation in the Triune Godhead. The Son separated Himself from the Father and the Holy Spirit. As Jesus, the Son of God, hung on the cross the entire sins of mankind were placed upon Him. He cried out to the Father, “why have You forsaken Me?” The answer to His disparity is LOVE.
