Did you know that God has a timetable? God says in Ecclesiastes that there is a time and a season for everything under the sun. And, from the countdown of sin in the Garden, God has ordained a 7,000-year period of time to resolve that issue of “sin”. This timetable unfolds as we work through the contents of the Bible. We are rapidly approaching 6,000-years of human history. Scripture then tells us that the last 1,000 years will be a millennial reign of Christ. We are living on the threshold of a major shift in God’s timetable. Time from the Garden to the reign of Christ is all recorded in human history except for the final days in which we now live. However, we can look backwards onto our history and realize that not only did God make a timetable – He kept it! Today, we begin a mini-series on God’s timetable. As we proceed with this series, as we look to the mountain of fulfilled scriptures and the reality that God is right on time, our faith will increase. As the Apostle Paul wrote to Titus, we are ” looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
